Luis Tellez

President, The Witherspoon InstituteLuis Tellez is president and founder of The Witherspoon Institute and an advisor to Princeton University’s James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions. Tellez serves on the boards of directors of the Strathmore University Foundation and the American Principles Project, a group dedicated to preserving America’s founding principles of economic freedom and political liberty.

Tellez holds a Master’s degree in chemical engineering, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Before founding the Witherspoon Institute, he worked in the chemical industry and managed several nonprofit organizations, including the Association for Cultural Interchange and The Nassau Foundation.
