The ZZYZX Foundation derives its money from organic-cotton clothing retailer Patagonia, Inc. The company’s long-time chief executive Yvon Chouinard also serves as the foundation’s president, moving roughly $1 million from Patagonia to ZZYZX’s coffers each year.
