Center for Union Facts
Organization

Founded in February 2006, the Center for Union Facts (CUF) is a nonprofit organization “supported by foundations, businesses, union members, and the general public.” According to its website, Center for Union Facts is a watchdog group “dedicated to showing Americans the truth about today’s union leadership.” The organization provides information about labor unions on a variety of websites and blogs, releases reports on union activities, and runs ad campaigns in major newspapers, on television, and on billboards. Unlike some philosophically “anti-union” organizations, CUF opposes corrupt labor leaders and the misused trust of the millions of American union members.

Center for Union Facts website:

CUF’s UnionFacts.com tracks how union dues are spent and records the salaries and expense-account details for more than 20,000 unions and union-related organizations.

The website also chronicles unions’ own labor-law violations, equal-opportunity employment complaints, and political donations. More than 120 of the largest and most prominent unions are profiled in depth.
